The OHFB Workplace Analytics System
Metrics that MatterThe OHFB Workplace Analytics System is a scientific-based organisational diagnostics suite developed since 1998 by Afriforte and the WorkWell Research Unit at the faculty of Economic and Management Sciences of the North-West University, Potchefstroom South Africa.
Powered by a multitude of scientific theory, psychometrics, norms, benchmarks, and a real-time workplace analytics reporting system the OHFB Workplace Analytics System is top of its class with a footprint in many organisations in South Africa and globally.
The OHFB Workplace Analytics System in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic and the 4IR
The OHFB Workplace Analytics System has been revised to accommodate the challenges of the “new world of work” incited by the Covid-19 pandemic and the 4IR.
Peter Drucker argued that “The greatest danger in times of turbulence is not the turbulence itself, but to act with yesterday’s logic.”
Since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, employers and employees have been expected to conduct business activities in a technologically developing environment that is changing the way people live and work.
The sudden change in the work circumstances did not allow for any gradual “change management”; both staff and managers are forced in a “management of change mode” which is a reactive way to address change.
Afriforte is committed to providing innovative solutions to empower managers to generate a better understanding of the “new normal” in order to generate a “new logic” for staff management and support by embracing the future of work.
The OHFB Workplace analytics system included the new aspects of work that includes hybrid and remote worker experiences, work-life balance, work climate experiences, and employee functioning outcomes. Empowering managers to answer the following crucial questions:
What is the new logic in my work environment? How did work experiences and supportive needs of staff change?
Are there differences in experiences and supportive needs between onsite, hybrid, and full-time remote workers? What are these differences? What do I need to do to optimise management support to these three groups of employees?
How do I keep staff engaged, connected, and productive in the new world of work?
